Please feel free to leave comments, additions and/or photo's which can add to a better and more complete picture of Fraser Island or K'Gari as the original inhabitants, the aboriginals who have lived on Fraser Island for thousands of years, named the island. Footnote: Fraser Island is commonly misspelled as Frazer Island, Frasier Island and Fraiser Island. Also its original name, K'gari is sometimes used. This name was originally given to it by its aboriginal inhabitants but was later replaced into Fraser Island by the Europeans. A Dingo - Rather harmless but keep your distance to be safe.
